Elizabeth offers individual therapy to help clients explore and process their emotions in a safe and supportive environment. She works collaboratively with clients to identify goals and develop strategies to achieve emotional well-being.

Elizabeth offers family therapy to help families improve communication, build stronger relationships, and work through challenges together. She works collaboratively with families to identify goals and develop strategies for achieving emotional health and well-being.

Elizabeth has a strong focus is helping children in therapy. It is incredibly important that every child has the ability to thrive in life, and they need the right support to do so. She works with children and their families to provide a safe and comfortable space where they can express themselves and grow.

Elizabeth Strelow, LMFT-A, PLLC

Elizabeth Strelow is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate with an MS in Psychology. Elizabeth received her graduate education from Our Lady of the Lake University, with a focus on systemic therapy and her undergraduate degree from Willamette University. Elizabeth works with families, couples and individuals, exploring and processing difficult emotions and providing guidance.

 

A former teacher, Elizabeth has worked extensively with adolescents and parents, helping families build better understanding and improved communication skills. Elizabeth loves creating a space for children and adolescents to discover their strengths and build new skills to thrive as they navigate peer interactions, family dynamics, academic pressures, and to build coping skills to deal with anxiety, depression and problems focusing.

Elizabeth works with women and men in periods of transition, such as divorce, job changes and other significant life changes, building skills to create new understanding of the self and create new life outcomes. Working with couples, Elizabeth draws tools from the Gottman technique, EFT (Emotionally Focused Therapy), Narrative and Solution Focused therapy.

 

Elizabeth’s work with individuals is directed to help each client discover new perceptions, process difficult emotions, explore one’s strengths and create a new understanding of the self. In all her therapeutic work, Elizabeth uses a variety of tools including CBT, DBT and mindfulness techniques, focusing on the individual’s specific needs.

 

In her free time, Elizabeth enjoys theater, music and exploring the outdoors with her friends, family and her three children.
